Over a decade ago, Clementine became a stepmom to a nine-year-old boy, learning the delicate balance of co-parenting with her husband and his ex-wife. Navigating the fine line between being a supportive parent figure without overstepping, she raised her stepson—whom she lovingly calls her son—alongside his two younger siblings. The turning point came one morning as her middle child dumped a half-gallon of white glue onto the carpet just as they were heading out the door. Staring in disbelief, she found herself saying, “Are you fucking kidding me?!”—a phrase that would become her unofficial parenting motto.

 

With friends urging her to share her humor, honesty, and hard-won parenting insights with a wider audience, Clementine took to the microphone. Through her podcast, she now shares personal stories, chats with fellow parents and caregivers, and brings a refreshingly raw perspective to the chaos of raising kids—without any of the pressure to be perfect.
